The very phrase, “Release Planning” sounds arduous and unappealing. Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse there is now talk about pre-release planning and post-release planning. How can we make releasing as painless and risk free as possible? The answer does not rely on more meetings but on technical practices and architecture. This talk draws from years of experience in being a build and release “monkey” for large and distributed teams.
